Trena J. Blackstock, 50 years old, started
working for Marjo in January 2003 as a geologist. Prior to working
for Marjo, Blackstock worked for Joe Podpechan for two years.
Blackstock has previously worked for the American Association of
Petroleum Geologists as a Science Editor for their Explorer
publication and as a geologist for Richard Norman and Estoril

Blackstock graduated from Knox College in
Galesburg Illinois with a Bachelors degree in biology. She did
undergraduate work at Colorado School of Mines in geology and
graduated with a Masters degree in geology from the University of
Tulsa. She completed her thesis on the Northwest Tecemseh Skinner
and Redfork Field in Oklahoma, examining ten cores, determining the
petrology and diagenesis of the formations from thin sections and
determining the depositional environment from examination of cores
and mapping of electric logs.
Blackstock enjoys spending time with her three
children, gardening, playing tennis and waterskiing and snowskiing when
she gets a chance.
